I interned 2 months at EW and in addition to Jess Cagle, the place is crawling with people who should know better. This was a place where when I crafted a detail response (including citations from "The Celluloid Closet") to a Canadian "Sons of the Desert" fan close attacking EW for implying that Laurel & Hardy included gay humor in there routines, a senior editor said "No, this isn't strongly worded enough!" I think he switched it for something like "F*ck you very much." LOL. Yes, odd it made it in there.
